Cannes Boats Welcomes The Yacht Collection

From a day among the Lérins Islands to a season at sea, or a yacht of your own.

A day with Cannes Boats usually starts with a short crossing. Port Canto falls behind, the Croisette shrinks to a pale line, and within twenty minutes you are at anchor off Sainte-Marguerite, in water so clear the seabed looks close enough to touch. Lunch at La Guérite, a swim, the slow run home as the Esterel turns red in the late light.

For many guests, that is the whole idea. For others, it is the start of a different question. What would a week feel like, rather than a day? Or a summer between Corsica and the Amalfi Coast? And, perhaps on the way back past the Vieux Port, what would it mean to have a yacht of your own?

That is where The Yacht Collection comes in. We are pleased to introduce it as a partner to Cannes Boats, bringing yacht sales and long-range charter into the same conversation as the days you already spend with us on the water.

A clearer view of the market

Every September, Cannes becomes the place where the yachting world comes to look. The pontoons of the Vieux Port and Port Canto fill with new launches, and buyers walk from one stand to the next comparing hulls, layouts and promises. It is an inspiring week. It can also be an overwhelming one.

The Yacht Collection was built to make that process calmer. Rather than presenting every listing available, it focuses on yachts chosen for their quality, character, pedigree and ownership potential. Sanlorenzo, ISA Yachts and Royal Huisman sit alongside Sunreef catamarans, Pardo day yachts and the hybrid trawlers of Greenline. Some are defined by speed, others by volume, range or craftsmanship. Each has earned its place.

Several will feel familiar. Guests who have spent a day aboard a Pardo 50 or a Sanlorenzo 72 with Cannes Boats already know how these yachts behave at sea. The Yacht Collection simply opens the next chapter: brokerage yachts and new builds presented side by side, with market insight and a buyer’s guide written to inform rather than persuade. The starting point is always the same: how you intend to use the yacht.

Beyond the bay

Charter is the other half of the story. The Yacht Collection presents a selection of yachts for charter across the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and well beyond the usual routes.

The fleet is varied by design. Dokinha, a 49.9-metre Overmarine delivered in 2024, pairs Alberto Mancini lines with real pace. Bon Vivant, a Codecasa refitted in 2020, spends its summers in the Western Mediterranean with a full-beam owner’s suite. And Sunday, a 59.8-metre Benetti, carries an Art Deco interior inspired by the ocean liner Normandie.

The destinations follow the same thinking. Italy, the Balearics and Greece for the long Mediterranean summer. St Barts, Antigua and the Bahamas once winter settles over Europe. And for those drawn further, French Polynesia, Patagonia or the fjords around Flåm in Norway.

Why this partnership makes sense

Cannes Boats exists to make time on the water feel effortless. We know this stretch of coast from Golfe Juan to Théoule, the captains who work it and the anchorages worth the detour. The Yacht Collection brings the same kind of knowledge to a much wider canvas, working with shipyards, brokers and crews across several oceans.

Both sit naturally within The S Collection. A client might take a day boat to the islands during the Film Festival, return in September to walk the Yachting Festival pontoons with a broker who already knows their brief, then spend the winter weighing a Sanlorenzo against a Sunreef. Each step is handled by people who understand the one before it.

Nothing about the way you book a day with Cannes Boats changes. What changes is how far the conversation can go.

What this means for you

If you are planning a day out from Cannes, we are here as always. If that day has you wondering about a week in the Cyclades or a season in the Caribbean, we can introduce you to The Yacht Collection‘s charter team. And if you are thinking about ownership, whether a first boat or the next step up, their brokers will help you compare the yachts that matter, with honest advice on how each would suit the way you like to spend time at sea.

Tell us where the idea begins. We will take care of the introductions.
